Everything you need to know about ordering fresh hydrangeas from Prime Flowers.

About the Product

What do I get in each box?

Each box contains 12 stems of fresh-cut premium hydrangeas from our farm in El Retiro, Antioquia, Colombia. All blooms are over 7 inches wide with 60 cm stems. We offer six varieties:

  • Fresh White Hydrangeas — 12 stems, classic white
  • Fresh Light Blue Hydrangeas — 12 stems, naturally grown or color-tinted (seasonal)
  • Fresh Light Pink Hydrangeas — 12 stems, color-tinted light pink
  • Mixed: 6 White + 6 Light Blue — a fresh, airy combination
  • Mixed: 6 Light Blue + 6 Light Pink — a soft, romantic duo
  • Mixed: 6 White + 6 Light Pink — the classic elegant pairing

Are the colored hydrangeas dyed?

It depends on the variety:

  • Light Pink: always color-tinted with floral-safe dye for a consistent, delicate tone.
  • Light Blue: naturally grown when in season — this is our preference and what we strive to send. When natural blue hydrangeas are not available, we send expert color-tinted stems — virtually indistinguishable from the naturally grown variety in both appearance and quality.
  • White: always naturally grown, never treated.

Tinting is done with floral-safe dye and does not affect the structural health of the flower or its vase life.

How long will the flowers last?

With proper care, fresh hydrangeas can thrive for up to 7–10 days. Longevity depends on temperature, water freshness, and placement in your home. See our Hydrangea Care Guide for step-by-step instructions to get the most out of your blooms.

Do I need to do anything when the flowers arrive?

Yes — unpack immediately, trim 1 inch off the stems at a 45-degree angle, and place them in a clean vase with fresh cold water. The sooner they get water, the better.

Ordering & Shipping

Where do you ship?

We ship exclusively to addresses within the United States.

How long does shipping take?

3–5 business days from the day your order ships via FedEx IPD.

Can I choose a specific delivery date?

Not at this time. If you need flowers for a specific event, we recommend ordering at least 7 business days in advance to allow buffer time.

Do you ship to PO Boxes?

No. FedEx does not deliver to PO Boxes. Please use a physical address.

Quality & Returns

What if my flowers arrive damaged?

Contact us at hello@primeflowers.shop within 24 hours of delivery with a photo of the flowers as received. We will send a replacement box or issue a full refund — your choice. See our Freshness Guarantee for full details.

Can I return my order?

Due to the perishable nature of fresh flowers, we do not accept returns. However, if you are unsatisfied for any reason, contact us and we will find a solution.

Do you ship to Alaska or Hawaii?

No. We currently ship to the 48 contiguous United States and Washington D.C. only. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, or other U.S. territories. If an order is placed from one of these locations, we will cancel and issue a full refund.
